From a Gmeinder new build to a Bundesbahn shunting locomotive

The locomotive was accepted by the German Federal Railroad on 26.08.1969 - built by Gmeinder under the factory number 5453. It already bore the lettering for Era IV when it was delivered. In 1994, it was repainted in Orient red / light gray as part of a general overhaul. After being equipped with radio remote control, it was reclassified as the 335 series in 1995. It was later transferred to InfraServ Logistics GmbH, where it was painted green in 2005. The model shows the condition of the locomotive in purple red as it was in active DB service in 1982 - an authentic contemporary document of the classic DB shunting era.
