The Liliput L235246 H0 timber transporter unit is a detailed replica of the Laaps 565 stake wagon unit, which was used by "RAILTRANS" for the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) in Era V. The model consists of two permanently coupled wagons and is specially designed for the transportation of round and sawn timber. The Laaps 565 car units were converted from former SNCB Hbis cars in France until 2006. The unit was initially used by Railtrans, but was later taken over by On Rail and leased to various European rail companies.
