The model is digitally equipped, designed for the 3L AC system, and is ideal for classic passenger train, express train, and mainline scenes from Era IV.
The BB 15010 impresses with its typical French electric locomotive appearance and striking Arzens design. As a result, the locomotive fits perfectly into SNCF train formations of Era IV and makes a strong statement when coupled with matching passenger cars, express train cars, or international passenger trains.
As an AC digital version, the model provides a convenient foundation for digital layout operation. Sound is not included in this variant, making the locomotive particularly suitable for model railroaders who prefer a digitally controllable AC locomotive without a sound function.
