The model is digitally equipped, designed for the 3L AC system, and is ideal for classic mainline, passenger, and express train formations of Era IV.
The BB 15059 impresses with its typical French electric locomotive look and distinctive Arzens design. As a result, the locomotive blends perfectly into Era IV SNCF train formations and adds a stylish touch when coupled with matching passenger cars, express train cars, or international passenger train sets.
As an AC digital version, this model provides a convenient foundation for digital layout operation. Sound is not included in this variant, making the locomotive particularly suitable for model railroaders who prefer a digitally controllable AC locomotive without a sound function.
The red-and-white light sequence provides realistic lighting in both directions of travel. The LED lights offer a clear and long-lasting lighting effect that is particularly impressive in stations, on showcase tracks, or in front of long passenger trains.
