The Märklin 00730-14 H0 German Federal Railroad (DB) Era IV Tals 968 swing-roof car is a detailed model for alternating current (AC) systems. This four-axle hinged roof car is designed for transporting bulk freight that is sensitive to moisture and has an authentic red-brown paint scheme that is typical of Era IV (circa 1970 to 1990).

The model is equipped with type 665 bogies and has central steps and handles on one long side as well as access holes on the upper body, which gives the wagon a high level of detail.
