The Märklin 00730-18 H0 German Federal Railroad (DB) Era IV Tals 968 swivel roof car is a detailed model for alternating current (AC) systems.

This four-axle hinged roof car was developed especially for the transportation of bulk goods that are sensitive to moisture. The model is painted in the typical red-brown color scheme that is characteristic of Era IV (approximately 1970 to 1990). The wagon is equipped with two transition platforms to facilitate access and operation. The bogies correspond to type 665.Special features of this model are the central access steps and handles as well as the access holes on the upper body, which allow a detailed reproduction of the prototype.
