The Märklin 00730-21 H0 German Federal Railroad (DB) Era IV Tals 968 swivel roof car is a highly detailed model for alternating current (AC) systems.This four-axle hinged roof car was designed for the transportation of bulk goods that are sensitive to moisture. The model has the typical red-brown paint scheme of Era IV (circa 1970 to 1990).

The wagon has two transfer platforms and is equipped with type 665 bogies.Special features of this model are the central access steps and handles as well as the access holes on the upper body, which enable a realistic reproduction of the original.
