The heavy express steam locomotive 498.104 of the Železnice Slovenskej Republiky (ŽSR), also known as the "Albatros", is at the center. It is accompanied by four detailed Czech Railways (ČD) passenger cars, painted in the typical museum livery. Technical details & digital equipment

The locomotive is equipped with a controlled high-performance drive that works with a flywheel in the boiler. Four axles are powered and traction tires ensure safe traction. The built-in mfx+ digital decoder offers extensive light and sound functions. Particularly noteworthy is the smoke insert installed as standard with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke output that can be controlled digitally.

The lighting includes a direction-dependent three-light headlight on the locomotive and a two-light headlight on the tender. The upper headlights can be switched separately and include a functional, lighted locomotive license plate. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally and all light sources are equipped with maintenance-free warm white LEDs.

Design & workmanship

The locomotive and tender are largely made of metal and have many applied details. The close coupler between the locomotive and tender is adjustable and kinematically guided. There is an NEM coupler pocket on the tender. The buffer heights correspond to the NEM standard. Brake hoses, imitation screw couplers and an air tank for attaching are also included. The four passenger coaches - two of type Ba 256 (2nd class), one ABa 350 (1st/2nd class) and one Aa 150 (1st class) - are also supplied with various accessories.
