The German Federal Railroad (DB) class 120.1 electric locomotive is presented in an oriental red basic paint scheme and has the road number 120 120-1, matching the operating condition as of 1987. The model is equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder that offers extensive sound functions. The controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass is installed centrally and drives all four axles via cardan shafts. Traction tires provide additional traction. The three-light headlights and the two red marker lights change over with the direction of travel and can be operated both conventionally and digitally. The headlights on locomotive ends 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation and there is a double A light function. The cab lighting changes with the direction of travel and can also be switched digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LEDs) provide realistic lighting.
The pantographs can be raised and lowered digitally and the model has separately applied grab irons, UIC sockets and roof lines, which increase the level of detail. The buffer height complies with the NEM standard and there is a train driver figure in driver's cab 1. Brake lines and screw couplings are included as separately attachable parts. With a length over buffers of 22.1 cm, this electric locomotive brings not only technical sophistication but also a high level of detail to your model railroad layout.
