Description

French classic - Märklin H0 SNCF diesel locomotive CC 65000

With the Märklin 38650 you can bring the French railroad tradition of the 1950s to your H0 layout. The SNCF class CC 65000 diesel locomotive impresses with its distinctive shape, typical paint scheme, and its role as a versatile multi-purpose locomotive for passenger and freight service. The model impresses with the finest detailing, comprehensive digital functions and a smoke generator as standard.

The prototype - Powerful all-rounder for the national railroad

The CC 65000 series was one of the first powerful diesel-electric locomotives of the SNCF. It was used from the 1950s onwards for both long-distance trains and freight trains. Thanks to its six axles and striking design, it remained a defining feature on France's main lines for decades.

Model - a wealth of detail meets digital technology

The model is equipped with a centrally installed high-performance drive with a flywheel. Two axles per bogie are driven by cardan shafts and a smoke generator fitted as standard produces realistic steam. Lighting functions such as cab, console, engine room and shunting lighting can be controlled separately digitally. A buffer tank ensures uninterrupted operation.
