Märklin 38902 H0 Zweikraftlok Eurodual, RP, Ep. VI, AC-MFX-Sound Product Details

Description

Modern hybrid power - Märklin H0 Eurodual BR 2159 dual-power locomotive, Railsystems RP

With the Märklin 38902 you can get the most modern railroad technology on your H0 layout: the Eurodual class 2159 dual-power locomotive, built by Stadler and operated by Railsystems RP. In a silver-blue paint scheme, with pantographs that can be raised and lowered digitally, powered fans, extensive LED lighting and an mfx+ decoder, this model is a real highlight of Era VI.

The prototype - Two systems, one locomotive

The Eurodual is a modern dual-power locomotive that can run both in electric mode (with pantographs) and diesel-electric mode - ideal for freight traffic on electrified and non-electrified lines. The locomotive shown here bears the number 2159 234-4 and will be used by Railsystems RP in its current operating condition from 2023.

Model - high-tech on a scale of 1:87

The locomotive has a controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass. Two axles in each bogie are driven by cardan shafts. Digital highlights such as separately switchable lights, powered roof fans, digitally controllable pantographs and coupler compartment lighting make the model a premium locomotive both technically and visually.
