Märklin 39127 H0 Class 115 Electric Locomotive - DB AG, Era VI with mfx+ Sound

The Märklin 39127 is a modern reproduction of the class 115 electric locomotive of the Deutsche Bahn AG. This locomotive has the road number 115 346-9 and is shown in 2014 condition. The locomotive body with the aerodynamic front design - the so-called "crease " - and the continuous fan belt along the sides are characteristic. This model thus presents itself as an authentic vehicle of the upscale regional traffic of Era VI.

The locomotive impresses with numerous technical features and high-quality details. The controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass is installed centrally. All four axles are driven by cardan shafts, supported by traction tires for optimum tractive power. An integrated buffer storage unit ensures operation even with short sections of track without power and ensures reliable running characteristics in digital operation.

The locomotive is equipped with a modern mfx+ digital decoder with extensive light and sound functions. This includes a three-light headlight signal that depends on the direction of travel and can be switched conventionally or digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for all of the lighting.

The pantographs of the DBS 54 design are particularly detailed and have no visible fastenings - for a realistic overall appearance. Both pantographs can be raised and lowered digitally. Numerous separately applied components such as grab irons, steps and UIC sockets complete the external appearance of this modern locomotive.

With kinesiologically guided close couplers and a buffer height according to NEM, the locomotive is fully compatible with current vehicle models. Brake lines and screw couplers are also included as separately attachable accessories. The locomotive has a length over buffers of 18.9 cm and is therefore ideal for operation with modern regional and intercity coaches.
