The Märklin Bymf 436 cab control car is a precise reproduction of a German Federal Railroad (DB) 2nd class cab control car. As part of the so-called "light express trains" (LS), it embodies the railroad traffic of the 1980s in the characteristic ocean blue/ivory paint scheme. This model impresses with its technical equipment and authentic details and is specially designed for AC-Digital.
The type BDylf 457 center-entry cars were used as control cars for light express trains. With their luggage compartment without a side aisle and the characteristic small tail lights at the upper end of the front end, they were a distinctive part of the DB's express service. The cab control car depicted here shows the operating condition around 1980 and is painted in the typical ocean blue/ivory color scheme.

The model is equipped with a type-specific underbody and transparent red tail light inserts. The cab control car can be driven on with a minimum radius of 360 mm and has a length over buffers of 28.2 cm.
The cab control car goes very well with other cars from the Märklin H0 assortment, such as items 43127 and 43167. A locomotive to go with the train composition is available under item number 38100. These models can be used to recreate realistic Era IV train formations.
