With the Märklin 43428 add-on car set 1, you can add two high-quality 1st class center cars to your TGV INOUI basic set (item no. 37798). The set is part of the modern Euroduplex train of the French state railroad SNCF, which runs on the Paris-Munich route under the "TGV INOUI" premium offer. Designed in the current operating condition as of 2025, this model brings elegance, comfort and prototypical details to your H0 layout.

The prototype - Euroduplex comfort on two levels

The TGV INOUI stands for a modern travel experience with a high level of comfort, WLAN and well thought-out design. This set recreates two 1st class double-decker coaches - coaches R2 and R3 of multiple unit number 4713 - as they are used in daily international long-distance services. The typical Jakobs bogies and the striking shape of the TGV are reproduced true to scale.

Scale replica with sophisticated technology

Both middle wagons are permanently coupled together and have a sliding guide in the Jakobs bogies for realistic cornering behavior. The cars are equipped with warm white LED interior lighting that is powered by the continuous power connection of the entire train. The interior lighting is maintenance-free and provides atmospheric lighting during day and night operation.

Expansion to a complete 10-car unit

Together with the other extension sets 43438 and 43448, the basic set 37798 can be extended to a complete 10-part TGV unit - just like the prototype. The combination guarantees a prototypical train appearance with an optimally coordinated car sequence and realistic operational representation.

Scope of delivery

The set includes two scale 1st class double-decker center cars (R2 and R3) with permanently connected couplers, built-in LED interior lighting, Jakobs bogies with guide rails and complete lettering according to the operating condition as of 2025. Length of the pair of cars: approx. 43 cm.
