Prototype: Belgian State Railways (SNCB/NMBS) express train compartment car BI6, 2nd class, for the EuroCity "EC 90 Vauban", with the Zurich-Basel-Luxembourg-Brussels train route. Eurofima design. Operating condition in the early/mid-2000s.

About the model: The "EC 90 Vauban" express train car from Märklin was constructed in a scale of 1:87. The car has an impressive detailed paint scheme with very fine lettering. A sliding scale set with additional train running signs is included.
