Are you looking for a high-quality passenger car set for your H0 layout that perfectly matches American passenger trains from the late 1940s and early 1950s? The Märklin 43629 US Heavyweight Set UP brings four different Union Pacific passenger cars in an elegant two-tone gray color scheme to your model railroad.
The set consists of four US Heavyweight passenger cars of different types. Included are a combined baggage and passenger car, two open-plan passenger cars, and an observation car with a business lounge and an observation deck at one end of the car.
The prototype features cars from the American railroad company Union Pacific in service between 1948 and 1952. This makes the set ideal for classic American long-distance passenger trains and pairs especially well with the US steam locomotive “Challenger” (item number 39913).
All cars feature standard-equipped LED interior lighting with warm-white LEDs and a buffer capacitor. The combined baggage and passenger car is additionally equipped with an mfx decoder, which allows various lighting functions to be controlled digitally.
The combined baggage and passenger car has a collector for power pickup and supplies power to the entire train set. Current-carrying close-coupling heads are installed between the cars as standard, thereby specifying a fixed order for the train.
Standard close-coupling heads are attached to the end of the car with the baggage compartment and to the end of the car with the observation deck. The illuminated observation deck provides a particularly atmospheric finishing touch to the car set.
Get the Märklin 43629 US Heavyweight Set UP and expand your H0 collection with an impressive four-car passenger set featuring interior lighting, an mfx decoder, and classic Union Pacific livery.
