Thanks to its large panoramic windows, this first-class express train car offers a unique view—not only in real life but also on your model railroad. Designed to reflect the 2025 service configuration, the model combines a contemporary design with reliable technology.

The Real-Life Model – Comfort on International Routes

The panoramic cars of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS) are specially designed for EuroCity and InterCity services. They provide an exclusive travel experience, especially on scenic routes. The 1st-class Apm car shown here is used in the SBB’s modern long-distance service—for example, on routes to neighboring countries such as Germany, Austria, or Italy.

Well-equipped for model railroading

The car is equipped with adjustable buffers and is prepared for the installation of interior lighting (Item No. 7316). For flexible operating scenarios, current-carrying couplers (Item No. 7319 or 72020/72021) can be retrofitted—ideal for layouts with digital lighting control and current collection in multiple-car formations.

To scale and compatible

With a length over buffers of approximately 26.7 cm on a 1:87 scale, the panoramic car is suitable for all standard H0 layouts. For DC model railroading, the matching DC wheel set E700580 is available separately. The car combines perfectly with other modern SBB cars.

Recommended Add-ons

Ideal for combining with the Märklin passenger cars 43673, 43674, and 43675 to create a complete EuroCity set. The perfect locomotive to complete the set is the SBB Re 460 electric locomotive (Item No. 39469).
