With the Märklin 43674 EuroCity express train car of the Bpm 2090 class, you can expand your modern long-distance train set from the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) with a typical second-class car. Based on the operational configuration as of 2022, this car ideally complements the current EuroCity service with its international scope—perfectly reproduced in 1:87 scale.

The Prototype – Modern Mobility in 2nd Class

The SBB’s Bpm cars form the backbone of international EuroCity service. They are used on key routes between Switzerland and its neighboring countries and offer modern amenities and a high level of comfort. The operational configuration shown, effective from 2022, realistically reflects the current appearance of these cars in long-distance service.

Technically Accurate and True to Scale

The car features adjustable buffers and is prepared for the retrofitting of interior lighting (Item No. 7330) as well as current-carrying couplers (Item No. 7319 or 72020/72021). This allows the Bpm car to be flexibly integrated into digital train sets with lighting control.

Ideal for combining into complete EC trains

With an overall length of 26.4 cm, the car fits seamlessly into modern EuroCity formations. Combine it with the Panorama Car (43653), the Apm First-Class Car (43673), and the WRm Dining Car (43675) to form a complete set. The matching locomotive: SBB Re 460 (Item No. 39469).
