The Märklin 43675 EuroCity express train car of the Bpm 2090 class complements your SBB long-distance train set with another comfortable 2nd-class car in the current design. The car reflects the service configuration as of 2022 and is ideal for realistic train formations in international EuroCity service—perfectly rendered in 1:87 scale.

The Prototype – SBB Bpm 2090

The Bpm 2090 cars are among the standard vehicles in the Swiss Federal Railways’ modern long-distance service. They offer a high level of seating comfort in second class and are used on many EuroCity routes through Switzerland and abroad. The current color scheme and interior reflect the SBB design of the 2020s.

Technically prepared for versatile use

The car is equipped with adjustable buffers and can be easily integrated into existing systems. Prepared for retrofitting with interior lighting (Item No. 7330) and current-carrying couplers (Item No. 7319 or 72020/72021), making the Bpm suitable for use in digitally lit train sets.

Can be combined to form complete EuroCity trains

With a length over the buffers of 26.4 cm, the model conforms to H0 scale. To create a complete and harmonious set, combine this car with the panoramic car (43653), the Apm 1090 first-class car (43673), and the additional Bpm car (43674). The ideal locomotive for this train is the SBB Re 460 (Märklin Part No. 39469).
