The prototype - 1st class with spacious comfort

The Apümh 121 express train coaches were typical representatives of the high-quality passenger service of the German Federal Railroad in the 1970s. With a spacious interior, modern bogies and an eye-catching color scheme, they were used on numerous intercity and D-train connections.

Technology with animation - the conductor goes digital

A highlight of this model is the moving conductor figure in the center aisle, which can be controlled digitally - a real novelty in H0 scale. Controlled by a built-in mfx decoder, it provides a realistic, interactive railroad experience. The car is also equipped with LED interior lighting as standard, including end-of-train lighting at both ends of the car, each of which can be controlled separately digitally.

Perfectly equipped for digital operation

A fitted pick-up shoe and separable, current-carrying couplings enable additional carriages to be powered. The lighting works with maintenance-free LEDs and is stabilized by a buffer memory - for flicker-free light operation even during power interruptions. The type-specific design of the underbody and the elaborately detailed bogies (Minden-Deutz heavy design with disk and magnetic rail brakes) round off the high-quality overall appearance.
