Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type BDms 273 express train half baggage car, 2nd class. Ocean blue/ivory basic paint scheme. Operating condition around 1980.

About the model: The Era IV type BDms 273, 2nd class, half baggage car is in service on the German Federal Railroad. This 1:87 scale model reflects the characteristic features of the era. The entrance doors with one-piece door windows and fixed steps give the car an authentic appearance. The type-specific design of the underbody and the robust Minden-Deutz heavy bogies of type 361 with disk brakes and without magnetic rail brakes round off the model to present you with a piece of contemporary railroad history.

Prepared for the installation of the 7319 or 72022 current-carrying couplers, 73406 pickups, the 73410/73411 interior lighting and the 73407 end-of-train lighting.
