Description

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type Gl "Dresden" boxcar Gbkl 238 of the former replacement type. Short version, without hand brake, brakeman's platform and brakeman's cab. Version without end wall doors. Operating condition around 1972.

About the model: Märklin is supplying the Gbkl 238 freight car, used on the DB, in a scale of 1:87. The prototypical model has very fine lettering as well as a sprinkler system and additional running boards. The car has a length of 13.9 cm.
