Märklin 46502 H0 THÖRL Tank Car, DB, Era III Product Details

Description

Märklin 46502 THÖRL Tank Car

Are you looking for a classic tank car for your H0 layout that authentically complements the Deutsche Bundesbahn’s mineral oil transport operations in Era III? The Märklin 46502 THÖRL Tank Car represents a tank car from F. Thörl’s Vereinigte Harburger Ölfabriken, operated by the Deutsche Bundesbahn.

The prototype is a tank car with two wheel sets, a riveted tank, and a brakeman’s platform without a brakeman’s cab. With road number 580 213 and a 1958 service condition, the model is an excellent fit for freight trains, tank farm scenes, and industrial sidings in Era III.

Tank car with a riveted tank and THÖRL lettering

The model features a detailed undercarriage with an open-frame design. The finely reproduced and separately attached brake system, together with other attached details, ensures a prototypical appearance in an H0 freight train.

Fine details for realistic freight trains

The hand brake crank, brake system, and discharge pipes are finely detailed and separately attached. The model is complemented by an attached work platform with access steps as well as an attached brakeman’s platform.

Get the Märklin 46502 THÖRL tank car and expand your H0 freight train fleet with a distinctive Deutsche Bundesbahn tank car featuring classic private car lettering.
