Märklin 47474 H0 Sdggmrss S269 - VTG AG, Era VI Double Pocket Car with Container Load

The Märklin 47474 is an ultra-modern type Sdggmrss S269 (T3000e) double pocket car as it is used in current Era VI freight service. As a 6-axle articulated wagon from VTG AG, it faithfully reproduces the condition from the year 2023. The cobalt blue basic color scheme and the realistic container loading with a 20ft. and a 40ft. box containers from different companies make this model an eye-catcher on any modern H0 layout.

The detailed design is largely made of metal and therefore offers a high level of stability and a realistic feel. Both halves of the carrier wagon are movably mounted and rest on a central bogie - just like the original. The bogies correspond to the Y25 design, making the wagon ideally suited for use in combined freight transport and demonstrating how modern logistics work on the rails today.

A special feature of the wagon are the four side folding latches, which are factory-fitted and fully functional. These can be folded up to allow the wagon to be switched between container and swap body operation. Many separately attached details such as steps, brake lines and handrails at the ends of the wagon underline the high-quality workmanship and detailing of the model.

The load consists of a 20ft. and a 40ft. box container, as used daily in international freight traffic. These are realistically printed and give the wagon a particularly authentic appearance in container transport.

With a length over buffers of 39.3 cm, the wagon fits perfectly into modern freight train formations. The buffer height complies with the NEM standard and, in combination with standardized couplers, ensures problem-free integration into existing vehicle fleets. Brackets for high and low kingpins as well as air tanks for the car ends are included as separately attachable accessories.

The car is equipped as standard with a DC wheel set(E700580) and is therefore suitable for all common DC track systems. The car can optionally be converted for use on Märklin AC systems.
