The Märklin 48837 "Stiff Upper Lip" flat car is the next rock highlight of the AC/DC special series - a unique combination of model railroad technology and rock history! Loaded with a statue made of real brass, this flat car is a real collector's item and offers impressive attention to detail for music lovers and model railroad fans alike.

Design & workmanship

The model is based on a four-axle flat wagon in H0 and is made of a robust metal/plastic combination. The wagon floor is equipped with finely attached air tanks and brake lines. There are brake wheels and separately attached grab rails on the superstructure. The hand-finished used look gives the model an authentically aged appearance - each model is unique!

Rocking brass loading

The highlight of the model is the loaded statue, which is reminiscent of the iconic AC/DC stage motif "Stiff Upper Lip". The statue is made of solid brass and sits on a custom-made loading frame that ensures a secure hold. The scope of delivery also includes separately insertable stanchions for the realistic transportation of goods.

Technology & compatibility

The flat wagon is equipped with coupler drawbars and a standard NEM shaft. This makes it fully compatible with all common H0 model railroad systems. The length over buffers is approx. 15 cm - ideal for special trains and collector presentations.

Suitable for the AC/DC locomotive "Black Ice"

As part of the exclusive AC/DC special edition, the car goes perfectly with the Märklin "Black Ice" tender locomotive (item 39966). Together with other theme cars such as "Hells Bells" and "For Those About to Rock", an impressive rock train is created for real fans.
