Are you looking for a large-scale self-unloading car for your 1-gauge layout that can realistically depict bulk material and ballast transport? The Märklin 58300 DB Fc Self-Unloading Car depicts a Deutsche Bundesbahn Fcs 090 side-discharge car and is ideal for freight trains, construction site trains, and scenes involving track construction or ballast loading.
The prototype is a DB Fcs 090 side-discharge car with car number 01 80 645 2 557-1. These cars were used, among other things, as ballast cars and are therefore an excellent fit for layout areas featuring construction train traffic, loading tracks, or rail depots.
The model is largely made of plastic and features a detailed reproduction of key components on the car floor. These include the brake heart or brake triangle, brake shoes, lines, and the brake tank.
The unloading openings are equipped with movable rotary valves. This gives the car an additional functional element and makes it particularly suitable for realistic depictions of unloading and bulk cargo scenes.
The brake platform is equipped with a movable brake crank. With a minimum running radius of 600 mm and a length over buffers of 30.5 cm, the car is ready for use on compatible 1-gauge layouts.
Get the Märklin 58300 DB Fc Self-Unloading Car and expand your 1-gauge collection with a distinctive DB bulk-cargo car from Era IV, featuring movable details and a prototypical design.
