The Märklin 58837 boxcar Gl 11 brings stylish advertising and nostalgia to your 1-gauge layout. This model celebrates the 70th anniversary of the "Tannenzäpfle" beer brand of the Baden State Brewery Rothaus AG - implemented in the authentic version of a freight car of the German Federal Railroad in Era III. An absolute highlight for collectors, beer fans, and lovers of special theme cars.
The wagon belongs to the Gl 11 combination design, as it was ubiquitous in freight traffic on the German Reichsbahn and Bundesbahn from the 1920s to the 1950s. The large loading area, the barrel roof and the characteristic wooden walls made it the ideal means of transport for sensitive goods - including beer.
The model is elaborately designed in the colors and lettering of the Rothaus brewery - including the large Tannenzäpfle logo. The long coach body with barrel roof, realistically reproduced wooden walls and numerous attached details (steps, handles etc.) give the coach a high-quality appearance. The side sliding doors can be opened - ideal for showcase and diorama displays.
The wagon is designed for large layouts with a minimum radius of 1,020 mm. Length over buffers: 37.5 cm. The robust construction guarantees long-lasting quality and safe operation in gauge 1 (scale 1:32).
One boxcar Gl 11 without a hand brake, in the "Tannenzäpfle" anniversary advertising design, with functional doors and extensive details, individually packaged.
The Märklin 58837 combines historic railroading with traditional brewing culture - ideal as an individual item, theme train car or exclusive collector's model. Secure it now and transport "Tannenzäpfle" in proper style!
