The prototype - design meets travel experience

The class 103 was the flagship of the DB and still impresses today with its power and elegance. In the service of RailAdventure, it has been repainted in agate gray/traffic gray and pulls the extraordinary LUXON observation car - a rebuilt AD4üm-62 express train car with huge panoramic windows and luxurious equipment. Together they form an exclusive test and presentation train of today's Era VI.

Model - Full of technology in the smallest space

The locomotive is equipped with a powerful bell-type armature motor that drives both bogies. The LED headlights change depending on the direction and the engine room is equipped with lighted window inserts. The locomotive body is made of metal-filled plastic for smooth running characteristics. A concealed changeover switch allows the locomotive to be operated overhead.

Car with interior fittings

The LUXON observation car is finely detailed and has interior fittings. The panoramic windows and the eye-catching design reflect the modern interpretation of exclusive rail travel.
