With the Märklin 88356 you can bring a real all-rounder of Era III to your Z scale layout: the electric locomotive E 41 in chrome oxide green paint scheme, as it was in September 1962. This finely detailed miniature will win you over with its prototype fidelity, modern motive power, and high-quality design - ideal for commuter and express trains in the classic German Federal Railroad style.
The class E 41 (from 1968: BR 141) was designed from the 1950s for local and regional transport and was soon also used in front of express and freight trains. With its characteristic shape, five headlights and vertical fan blades, it was a familiar sight on German main and branch lines for decades.
The model has a metal chassis for optimum running characteristics and the body is made of finely engraved plastic. A powerful bell-shaped armature motor drives all axles. The lighting with warm white and red LEDs changes depending on the direction of travel. Details such as the rounded fans, the all-round rain gutter and the classic green paintwork make this E 41 a prototype of its era.
The model is designed for Z scale (scale 1:220). Length over buffers: 71 mm - ideal for compact Z-scale layouts with Federal Railroad flair.
DB electric locomotive E 41, operating condition 1962, with bell-type armature motor, LED headlights (white/red), full all-axle drive and true-to-original paint scheme.
The Märklin 88356 is the perfect model for classic passenger trains, express train compositions, or short freight trains of the early 1960s - a universally usable piece of jewelry in any Z-scale collection.
