Original RS09s were manufactured by VEB Landmaschinenbau Haldensleben from 1955 to 1964 and were one of the most produced tractors in the GDR and the entire Eastern Bloc. RS09s were the most important working machines in the LPGs and VEGs of the GDR. As the wheelbase and track width of the implement carrier were variable, the RS09 offered enormous versatility. This meant that a wide variety of superstructures could be attached for agriculture and industry. This is why this model can also shine in a wide variety of situations and offer a beautiful eye-catcher on fields, in industrial plants and in road traffic.
