Minitrix 11165 - N starter set "Freight train" with sound and digital control

The Minitrix 11165 "Freight Train" starter set offers the perfect introduction to the digital world of N scale. The centerpiece is a modern class 186 electric locomotive in the Railpool AG version, leased to LINEAS - combined with two realistically aged CFL freight cars. The set is fully equipped with track oval, mobile station and accessories and offers everything you need for a successful start.

Thanks to the built-in mfx/DCC decoder, sound functions and LED lighting, the set is a worthwhile expansion not only for beginners but also for advanced model railroaders.

Technical details & equipment

The 186 252-3 electric locomotive has a digital decoder with mfx/DCC compatibility and an integrated sound generator. The motor with flywheel drives all four axles, with traction tires providing additional traction. The chassis is made of die-cast metal and guarantees smooth running and stability.

Lighting elements such as headlights, marker lights and cab lighting are equipped with maintenance-free, warm white LEDs and can be controlled digitally. The two freight cars - a flat car with stakes (type Rnss) and a stake car (type Rns), both of the CFL - are aged and have close coupler mechanisms.
