Description

Prototype:German Federal Railroad (DB) standard electric locomotive 140 186-8. Basic paint scheme in ocean blue / ivory. Version with double lamps, plastic rain gutters over the front windows and cab doors, Klatte type ventilation grille, undivided engine room window with rubber seal and front handles. Condition around 1979. Use: Freight and passenger trains on local and long-distance routes.

Minitrix is presenting a real N-gauge draft horse with item number 16406. The body and the girder are made of high-quality die-cast zinc and are very detailed. The electric locomotive also has a built-in digital decoder with a sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC as well as a motor with a flywheel that drives all 4 axles via traction tires. The headlights and marker lights change over with the direction of travel and are equipped with warm white LEDs. The model can be controlled digitally and has close coupler mechanisms and attached grab irons.
