Description

A Minitrix manufactured model of the German Railroad (Deutsche Bahn AG) class 218 InterCity diesel locomotive. The new roof design provides a perfect representation of the MTU 12V 956 TB 11 engine, with its parallel exhaust ports and the Behr V-shaped cooling system. With the built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC, true-to-original light and sound effects can be produced. For example, the headlights and tail lights are adjusted to the direction of travel. The cab lighting can also be switched digitally. The motor with built-in flywheel mass, drives the 4 axles of the model. With the attached handle bars and many other details, the model is a real eye-catcher.
