The Märklin 16828 class 218 diesel locomotive is a perfect addition for all model railroaders who want to recreate the typical German Federal Railroad local and long-distance service of the 1970s in N scale. With the road number 218 209-5, the model represents a multi-purpose locomotive as it was around 1974 - equipped with electric train heating and suitable for both passenger and freight trains.
