Description

Märklin 18434 N Container Car Sgnss: GATX with Innofreight Bulk Containers

The Märklin 18434 Sgnss container box car is a detailed model of a modern freight car as it is used in European rail freight service. This model offers an authentic representation of contemporary freight logistics due to the realistic realization and the loaded bulk goods containers from the Innofreight Company.

Prototype: Modern freight car with bulk goods containers

The Sgnss type container freight car is part of the GATX Rail Austria fleet and is registered in Germany. The load consists of three large-volume bulk goods containers from the Austrian company Innofreight, which have a capacity of 46 m³. These containers enable the efficient transportation of bulk goods and will be in service around 2022.

Model: precision and versatility

The model has a robust die-cast metal chassis and type Y 25 bogies. With kinematics for close coupling, it is optimized for smooth operation on your system. The three bulk goods containers can be removed, which makes a wide variety of freight traffic scenarios possible. The length over buffers is 123 mm.

Perfect for modern layouts

Thanks to its modern design and realistic details, this wagon fits seamlessly into contemporary freight trains. Whether standing alone or as part of a longer container train, the model impresses with its versatility and prototypical design.
