The Minitrix 18534 Byg 514 converted car brings authentic 1970s flair to your N-gauge layout. Painted in the Deutsche Bundesbahn’s characteristic chrome oxide green, this model depicts the condition around 1976 and was widely used on commuter and express trains. Ideal for use in Era IV train sets or as an addition to Starter Set 11132.

Historically accurate and technically sophisticated

The four-axle car is based on conversions of older express train cars and was adapted for modern commuter service. The model is equipped with American-style bogies, known as “gooseneck bogies,” and impresses with its harmonious appearance and finely detailed decals.

Prepared for interior lighting

Equipped with kinematics for close-coupling, the car integrates seamlessly into train formations. It is also prepared for the retrofit of Minitrix 66638 LED interior lighting—for atmospheric journeys day and night.
