The Minitrix 18964 is a faithfully reproduced model of the Di (Bay 10) baggage car as it was built for the Royal Bavarian State Railways starting in 1910 and later continued to be operated under the German State Railways Bavarian Group Administration (DRB GV Bay.). In the depicted condition of the early 1920s, the car was assigned to the home district of Munich - a classic escort vehicle for Bavarian branch line trains of Era II.
With its typical design, the Di (Bay 10) is the perfect complement to the BCi and Ci passenger cars of the same design - and should not be missing in any historic train composition of the southern German state railroad era.
The model is equipped with kinematics for close couplers in accordance with NEM, which ensures tight car transitions and reliable operation even on small radii. The length over buffers is 74 mm, which makes the car particularly suitable for compact layouts in N scale.
