About the prototype: Since the 50-year-old steam boiler of the 99 4644 was worn out, it was decided to completely renew the locomotive body. After being put back into service on the Jerichower Kleinbahn in 1964, the locomotive was transferred to the Prignitz narrow gauge network on November 14, 1965 and then to Bergen on Rügen after the closure of this railroad. The locomotive was preserved and returned to the Pollo in Lindenberg in 1994 where it is waiting to be refurbished.
About the model: The model is produced true to the original in the Prignitz and Rügen versions.
