The base area of the "Albula Railway" of at least 200 × 100 cm offers plenty of space for fans of N scale 1:160 to realize a railroad circuit with crossing train traffic. The well thought-out track plan offers the option of building a staging yard or a double-track bypass. A pull-out track is provided in the goods station. This small detail takes the fun of model railroading to a whole new level, as the locomotive of an incoming train can be harnessed from the front to the rear and pull the wagons out of the goods station again - just like the original!

The very large station area is modeled on the track layout of the "Bergün" station in Switzerland. With the separately available "Bergün" station, "Bergün" engine shed and "Brombenz Viaduct" kits, particularly characteristic points of the Albula Railway can be perfectly recreated in the model.

We have described the construction of the layout for you step by step in text and pictures in the NOCH Easy-Track "Albula Railway" guide. A guide is included with each kit, but it can also be ordered separately here in the online store before starting the building project.

The route kit is not suitable for running with raised pantographs and without contact wire. Due to the clearance height, raised pantographs must be supported and suspended at the track crossings. This is the only way to achieve the low percentage gradients.
