With the H0 model railway station "Honau" (item 66007), NOCH presents an architectural and historical masterpiece on a scale of 1:87. The detailed laser-cut kit was designed in the style of a Swiss chalet based on the original reception building of the Echazbahn - a real gem for all those who not only want to create realistic buildings, but also scenes steeped in history on their model railway layout.
Honau station was built in 1893 on the Echazbahn line from Reutlingen to Münsingen and was the starting point of the steepest standard-gauge cog railroad in Germany - up to Lichtenstein. During the Second World War, the line was of strategic importance as it lay entirely in French-occupied Württemberg. Today, the building has been restored thanks to the efforts of a development association and is once again a real eye-catcher - and with this model on your layout too!
Built in the style of the Württemberg type III standardized station, the model has many exclusive design elements such as a crippled hipped roof, half-timbered look, wooden cladding and detailed porches. Many of these architectural highlights were only implemented in the prototype in Honau for cost reasons - a unique feature among railroad stations.
The high-quality laser-cut kit contains the main building and a separately constructed ramp. The components are hand-colored and made of environmentally friendly, sustainable material. Detailed building instructions and Laser-Cut special glue are included in the scope of delivery - for immediate building fun at a high level.
