Description

NOCH Laser-Cut building kit Linderhof Castle - Immerse yourself in the fairytale world of King Ludwig II.

Discover Linderhof Castle, the smallest but perhaps most fascinating castle of the "Fairytale King" Ludwig II of Bavaria, now as a detailed 1:87 scale laser-cut kit. Built between 1869/1870 and 1886, Linderhof Castle is considered Ludwig II's favorite castle and was the only one to be completed during his lifetime. With this elaborately designed model, you can bring a piece of history and majestic architecture directly to your model railway layout or diorama.

A castle full of history and art

Linderhof Palace was built on the site of a simple hunting lodge and was expanded into a magnificent residence in the style of French absolutism. The architecture and interior design reflect Ludwig II's admiration for Louis XIV and Versailles. The surrounding palace park combines elements of the formal Baroque garden with the English landscape garden. This model faithfully captures the atmosphere of the historic grounds and is a testimony to Ludwig II's visions and dreams.

Outstanding architecture with richly decorated statues

The exterior façade of the palace combines elements of French pleasure palaces with Bavarian rococo. The richly decorated façade and the statues representing Bavaria's glory and virtues are precisely reproduced. Thanks to the 113 individual 3D printed parts, you can admire every detail, from the gable decorations to the atlases and the limestone-colored statues. Each element has been carefully designed to represent the castle as realistically as possible.

The exclusive 3D figure set - King Ludwig II, "Sisi" and Richard Wagner

A special highlight of this kit is the eight-piece figure set included, which shows central figures from the history of Ludwig II: King Ludwig II, Empress Elisabeth ("Sisi"), Richard Wagner, two horses, a lad and two swan statues. The figures are highly detailed and 3D-printed in color for a vivid depiction of the scenes. Place the figures in front of the castle or in the park area to create a realistic royal scene.

Detailed laser-cut kit for demanding model builders

The kit consists of a total of 1,007 laser-cut components made from special, precision-cut cardboard. This is supplemented by 113 3D printed parts, which include statues, ornaments and architectural decorations. A special laser-cut adhesive and detailed assembly instructions ensure simple yet challenging assembly. The kit is ideal for ambitious model builders who want to integrate a piece of European history into their miniature landscape.

2025 - A milestone year for the royal castles?

The year 2025 could be of great significance for Ludwig II's castles. After the royal castles were placed on the German list of proposals for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2015, 2025 could be the year in which they finally receive this status. Bring a potential World Heritage Site directly into your model landscape with Linderhof Castle!

Conclusion - A kit for kings among model builders

With the NOCH Linderhof Castle laser-cut kit, you not only create an architectural masterpiece, but also immerse yourself in the fascinating world of King Ludwig II. Whether for historical dioramas or as an eye-catcher on your model railway layout - this model offers everything you need for a realistic and impressive result.
