With the BR 184.0 electric locomotive of the German Federal Railroad, PIKO brings an impressive DC model with factory-integrated sound to the H0 tracks. The multi-system locomotive known as the "Europa-Lok" was designed for cross-border traffic and is now available as a detailed Expert model for Era IV.

Prototypical design in every respect

The detailed roof garden with filigree metal pantographs, which are mounted without visible screw connections, as well as finely structured side surfaces with engravings and ventilation grilles make the model a visual highlight. The elaborately designed engine room can be viewed through the door in the driver's cab - realistically illuminated and staged. The cab lighting can also be controlled digitally (PluX22 decoder required).

Sound & function at a high level

The model is factory-equipped with a PIKO PSD XP sound decoder (PluX22) and offers numerous true-to-original sound functions. Direction-dependent light change (white/red), digitally switchable driver's cab lighting and precisely printed and painted surfaces round off the overall picture.

Technically well equipped

With NEM 658 PluX22 interface, NEM shaft with close coupler link and two traction tires, the locomotive is ideally suited for digital DC systems. The minimum radius of 358 mm allows it to be used on many common H0 layouts.
