PIKO 21047 - H0 Rh 1067 electric locomotive, ÖBB, Era III, green

The Piko 21047 is the green version of the rare ÖBB Rh 1067 electric locomotive for Era III. Only five of this exceptional class with electro-hydraulic drive were built - they are among the great rarities of the Austrian fleet. The fir green paint scheme authentically represents the early period of use of these locomotives.

Between 1961 and 1994, the machines built by Jenbacher Werke were used in shunting service. The technology, strongly based on diesel locomotives, made the locomotives special designs - but also prone to breakdowns. Today, two examples are preserved in museums. With this model, PIKO is bringing a piece of Austrian railroad history back to the model tracks.

Detailed realization & high fidelity to the original

The locomotive shines with a detailed running gear and numerous free-standing add-on parts. There is a replica cooling system in the front end with a visible fan wheel. The delicate metal scissor pantograph is mounted without visible screw connections - a real highlight in this detail class.

Digitally prepared & sound can be retrofitted

The model is equipped with a PluX22 interface and can easily be digitized with a suitable sound decoder(PIKO #56649) and loudspeaker. The space for this is already provided inside.

Light functions & digital equipment

In analog operation, the model offers a light change depending on the direction of travel (white/red). In digital operation, additional light functions such as shunting light, driver's desk lighting and the targeted switching off of head and tail lighting can be switched - for maximum prototype operation on the layout.

Technology & accessories

With a length of 121 mm over buffers, the model is suitable for layouts with a minimum radius of 358 mm. The NEM shaft with close coupler link allows easy integration into all standard H0 train formations. Two traction tires provide reliable traction.

For operation & display case

The scope of delivery includes a base plate with replica track as well as accessories such as brake lines, coupling hooks and covers - ideal for a high-quality presentation on the collector's shelf or at exhibitions.
