Technology & Sound - Ready for heavy loads

This version of the class 151 is fully digitally equipped and provides realistic sounds from the driver's cab via the integrated PluX22 sound decoder. The digitally switchable cab and engine room lighting as well as the typical approach lighting ensure a harmonious overall appearance on the layout. Thanks to mfx® support, the model is ready for immediate use with suitable command stations.

True to the original - detail and function combined

The model impresses with its precise shaping, prototypical paintwork in the DB design of Era IV and filigree add-on parts. Two metal pantographs and well thought-out engine room equipment continue the faithfulness to the prototype. The class 151 was the backbone of freight traffic in the 1970s and 80s and is still in use on private railroads today - a real endurance machine on the tracks.

Compatibility & layout integration

Perfectly suited for Märklin-compatible AC layouts, the locomotive runs safely through curves with a radius of 358 mm or more. Coupling is via the NEM shaft with close coupler link so that smooth operation in freight trains or with accompanying cars is guaranteed.
