With the Piko Vectron of the Správa železnic in digital sound version, PIKO brings one of the most modern locomotive concepts in Europe to your DC system. Equipped with a factory-installed PluX22 sound decoder, the locomotive not only provides a realistic model railroad operation of Era VI visually, but also acoustically.
The model has a finely designed single-arm pantograph made of metal, realistic front sections and an exact paint scheme in the design of the Czech infrastructure company Správa železnic. The factory-installed sound decoder provides true-to-original operating sounds - immediately ready for operation in the digital system via the NEM 658 PluX22 interface.
The Vectron series was developed by Siemens as the successor to the EuroSprinter line. It is suitable for national and international operations and is designed for an output of 6400 kW and 200 km/h. The operator Správa železnic uses these locomotives for infrastructure, service and occasional transport services - a modern face of the Czech railroad landscape.
The locomotive runs on all standard H0 DC tracks with a minimum radius of 358 mm. Coupling via NEM shaft with close coupler link allows flexible use in freight and special trains. The light changes in white/red depending on the direction of travel - for a harmonious appearance in day and night scenarios.
A must for digital beginners, technology enthusiasts and model railroaders with a focus on modern Eastern European railroad landscapes. Also ideal as a sound supplement on current container or infrastructure trains.
Experience digital locomotive technology at the highest level with the Piko Vectron Správa železnic - now available as an H0 sound model novelty 2025 in specialist shops!
