The model impresses with an authentic PIKO sound decoder, the finest detailing and typically rounded driver's cabs - a must for fans of the modern Czech railroad world.

Technology & equipment - digital sound & finest details

The factory-fitted PluX22 sound decoder provides realistic operating sounds in digital model railroad operation. The locomotive is equipped with two metal scissor pantographs, transparent skylights in the engine room and detailed bogies. The cab, engine room and console lighting can be controlled digitally (PluX22 decoder).

Prototype - The Škoda 47E as Rh 230 in freight train service

The locomotives originally delivered as S 489 and S 499 are among the most striking representatives of Eastern European electric locomotives. Today they are in service as class 230 at ČD Cargo - mainly in the South and West Bohemian region for freight train service. The large window area and the rounded design characterize their unmistakable look.
