With the AC sound version, the Piko BR 186 SNCB brings a cutting-edge four-system locomotive from the TRAXX 2 series to your Märklin-compatible H0 layout. Equipped with an mfx®-compatible sound decoder, the model provides a realistic sound experience and at the same time perfectly reflects the modern multi-system technology of the SNCB - ideal for cross-border operation in Era VI.

Technology & equipment - digital, detailed, mfx®-capable

The locomotive impresses with a factory-installed PIKO sound decoder, which is mfx®-compatible and is automatically recognized at compatible command stations. Equipped with four metal single-arm pantographs, smooth sides, a prototypical front and a detailed roof garden, the model meets the highest demands in terms of appearance and functionality. The headlights change in white/red depending on the direction of travel.

With 5,600 kW of power, four-system capability and several country packages, the TRAXX F140 MS is one of the most versatile locomotives in Europe. As class 186, it is used by the Belgian state railroad SNCB for national and international connections - from domestic traffic to journeys to Germany or the Netherlands.
