With the Piko 24557, PIKO presents a 2-axle beer wagon of the Polish State Railways (PKP) in an authentic Era II design. The wagon bears historical lettering from the pre-war period and thus represents the cross-border beer transport of the 1920s and 1930s - a particularly attractive era for all lovers of historical freight wagons.
The model is characterized by a high level of detail: fine steps, handrails, handles and spoked wheels underline the historical character. The car is ideal for branch line trains, brewery traffic or as a special car in historical train compositions.
The paintwork and printing are exactly matched to the PKP Era II. The car has the historic car number and the country code [P] for Poland. Particularly noteworthy are the delicate steps and railings as well as the classic design with a high roof structure and smaller car body - typical for beer wagons of this era.
The model is 101 mm long over buffers and runs smoothly on all H0 layouts with a minimum radius of 358 mm. The spoked wheel sets with fine bearings ensure excellent rolling characteristics. The couplers are picked up via the NEM shaft with close coupler link.
The Piko 24557 PKP beer wagon is supplied in a DC version - fully assembled and ready for immediate use on the model railroad layout or in the collection.
Add a special piece of beer and railroad history to your Era II layout - the PIKO 24557 PKP beer car. Filigree, functional and historically correct!
