The Piko 24561 shows a classic covered freight wagon G02 of the ČSD (Czechoslovak State Railways) in Era III, designed as a beer wagon with a historical design. The model is equipped with a brakeman's cab and is perfect for depicting local and regional freight trains of the 1950s and 60s in Czechoslovakia.
With fine engravings, precise printing and detailed steps, handrails and treads, this wagon brings a realistic piece of brewery freight traffic to the H0 layout - authentically and lovingly implemented.
The beer wagons of this era were often used as single wagons between breweries, warehouses and inns. The historic design with the inscription "Beer" makes this car a striking highlight in any Era III train set with a Czech connection.
With its compact length over buffers of 105 mm, the car is ideal for smaller layouts and tight radii (min. 358 mm). The clean axle bearing and the NEM coupling system with close coupler link ensure reliable operation and realistic buffer-to-buffer guidance.
The PIKO 24561 ČSD G02 "Beer" boxcar is a must for fans of historic rail transportation in Central and Eastern Europe - small, precise, charming.
