The Piko Ermewa/OMV articulated tank wagon provides model railroaders with a state-of-the-art freight vehicle for the international transportation of hazardous goods. The wagon is designed in the colors of Ermewa as operator and OMV as cargo owner - a common sight on Europe's main lines of Era VI.

Design & technology - safe, detailed and reliable

The wagon has a true-to-original buckling tank shape, which ensures optimum emptying behavior. Freestanding ladders and platform, a classic brakeman's platform and detailed bogies round off the high-quality appearance. The excellent rolling characteristics also make it suitable for use in long tank car trains.

Model operation & compatibility

The car is suitable for DC systems, but can also be converted for Märklin systems with AC exchange wheel sets (item no. 56061). Equipped with an NEM shaft and close coupler link, it is compatible with current tank car series and modern Era VI locomotives.
